What this covers
California law gives residents the right to opt out of the sale of personal information and of sharing it for cross-context behavioural advertising — that is, advertising targeted to you based on activity across different websites.
To be clear about our position: we do not sell personal information for money. When you submit an enquiry, we pass your details to the dealership that can answer it, because that is the service you asked for and not a sale. However, the analytics and advertising tools this site uses may qualify as sharing under the law, and you are entitled to opt out of that.
The fastest way: a browser signal
Most browsers and several privacy extensions offer a Global Privacy Control setting. Turning it on sends an opt-out signal automatically to every website you visit, which is considerably more effective than submitting a form to each one individually. California law requires businesses to treat that signal as a valid opt-out request.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s browser add-on, and block or clear cookies through your browser settings.
Submitting a request to us
Use the form below to submit an opt-out request, or to exercise any other right described in our Privacy Policy — knowing what we hold, correcting it, or deleting it. Tell us which right you are exercising in the message field.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, which normally means confirming details you have already given us. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof that you authorised them.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. You will not be refused service, charged differently, or given a worse experience for opting out.
